Why Not Copy and Paste Directly from Word?
Invisible formatting in the Word file could potentially make your Moodle page hard to edit. To remove this Word formatting so it doesn’t “break” your Moodle page, simply select the text you pasted into the Moodle text editor and click “Clear formatting” from the editor’s menu bar. Then format the text as desired in the Moodle text editor.
